You consume me with the hunger for starvation,

As you encourage me to rid my body of what unsubstantial nutrition remains.

You watch with a sly grin as my hand shakes with anticipation.

Your satisfaction rises with the flow of bile up my burning throat.

You feel the power of victory as my eyes begin to brim with tears.

You whisper those manipulating words to my faint anemic body.

“Sweet, pleasurable relief, found solely in me.”

Control me no more.

Your power is renounced.

This secret affair is concluded.

As I peacefully bid you goodbye.

I shut and lock the door.
