Lonely is the heart which hides in fear.
Nervous, bruised, trembling.
Hiding beneath lust and failed attempts at loving the broken.

Bleeding is the heart which relives guilt.
Pained, scarred, seeping.
Reliving the past as though it is sentenced the fate of purgatory.

Lying is the heart which seeks passion.
Used, broken, lost.
Seeking unconditional love in which it is unable to contain.

Lonely, Bleeding, Lying
Nervous, Pained, Used
Bruised, Scarred, Broken
Trembling, Seeping, Lost
Hiding, Reliving, Seeking,
Yet an unfit vessel for what is desires, for what deserves.

Surrounded, Healed, Graced.
Calm, Healthy, New
Undamaged, Smooth, Whole
Comforted, Purified, Living
Brave, Rejuvenated, Found
I have seen the light My Gracious Lord radiates, I claim Him as my Savior.
